Expectations

Expectations:

  • You will treat yourself, your peers, and your instructors with respect.
  • You will abide by the science laboratory contract at all times.
  • You will wear safety glasses at all times while in lab.
  • Proper grammar and correct spelling is expected on all assignments.
  • All equations/sample calculations for typed lab reports must be typed in Equation Editor.
  • You will read the procedure before arriving in lab.
  • You will work on the calculations before you leave lab.

Rules:

  • Safety glasses must be worn at all times. Failure to follow this rule will result in point loss.
  • There is to be no horseplay in lab.

Honor Code
It is expected that you will follow the honor code. While working together in lab is permitted for most experiments, you are not allowed to work together on lab write-ups or learning devices. All sources must be documented on the first page of your lab write-up.
